Record breaking warm temperatures have come to our area. We are used to bundling up, staying in, making a fire, and wearing a sweater this time of year. Instead Daughter J was able to take the boys to the park to feed the ducks and see the elk. It was Baby G's first visit. Little J ate more bread than he fed to the ducks and E just was just happy to be outside.
What an incredible treat for January. I am never sure if this makes the cold worse when it comes (and I have no doubt that it will come). The Ranger says it just makes the winter shorter since every nice day gets us that much closer to spring. For a usually ‘glass half empty’ kind of guy, that is very optimistic.
